The indoor units are Samsung’s new Wind-Free cassettes, designed to deliver high levels of comfort evenly and efficiently, without cold drafts, thanks to the optimized louver design and innovative Wind-Free cooling technology.

At the same time, the ventilation of the office spaces is achieved through heat exchange and recovery units, connected to visible and elegant networks of circular air ducts and grilles.

The temperature and humidity in the workplace have a great impact on the productivity of workers, so with the help of Samsung Climate Solutions and through the perfect combination of constant temperature control, flexibility and silent operation, it is possible to work in cool and quiet conditions that enhance focus and performance.

Finally, an easy-to-use central management and higher-level control system has been installed, which includes a series of smart features that help to control each area in the office premises and at the same time make the operation and maintenance of the systems more efficient and economical.

The Nonagon Building is powered by an underground electrical substation with a 2×1000 KVA capacity, supplied by the national power company (DEI). This substation efficiently distributes power through the following connections:

1. 1 Meter with N7 supply: Dedicated to common areas.
2. 6 Meters with N6 supply: Providing electricity to various independent spaces.
3. 3 Meters with N5 supply: Catering to additional building requirements.

The Nonagon Building is equipped with an exterior lighting arrester pole and a robust surge protection system. This essential infrastructure safeguards the building from lightning strikes and electrical surges, ensuring uninterrupted operations and the safety of all occupants. Designed to divert and neutralize electrical discharges, these systems provide reliable protection for both the building’s sensitive equipment and its structural integrity.

A. STRUCTURED CABLING

The building has a certified structured cabling system consisting of a Class ^6A central copper

infrastructure and a fiber optic system in each room with a data transfer rate of up to 10Gbit.

Each space is equipped with copper terminal outlets and fiber optic interconnection so that each space can be interconnected with the other spaces or be self-contained.

If new cabling routes to and from the premises are required, it is possible to use the structured routing racks exclusively for weak currents.

The central network infrastructure is based on enterprise-level networking equipment installed in a dedicated telecom room that can program any operation required at the interconnect and security levels.

B. INTERNET ACCESS

The building has an internet access hub that can deliver up to 1Gbps symmetrical circuits to the premises.

There is also an active ultra-high-speed wireless internet access system (WiFi 6) serving the public areas inside and outside the building for the convenience of visitors or even the possible servicing of external events that need internet access to crowds of people.

Safety Priorities

The building offers the highest standards of security and surveillance and a single highresolution CCTV system in all common indoor and outdoor areas. An essential level of security is operating a multi-level alarm system (Alarm) and Access Control for access to these areas. It is important to note that a high-precision smoke/fire detection system is throughout the building with a real-time instant notification system.

Entrance Security Control Point

The Nonagon Building features a security control station at its entrance, responsible for managing the access of both guests and personnel. This station is staffed by a security guard who monitors all entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals gain access. The control station is equipped with essential amenities, including a WC, to provide comfort and convenience for security personnel during their shifts.

In addition to personnel control, the entrance is fitted with automated car barriers to regulate vehicle access. These barriers ensure that only authorized vehicles can enter the premises, providing an extra layer of security for the building and its occupants.
